Lydia Richmond

Associate Director

Lydia is a social media and content professional, specialising in digital strategy and campaigns. Her experience spans a diverse range of clients, from prominent global entities to grassroots organisations.

With a background encompassing both client-side and agency roles, Lydia joined Purpose Union from a PR agency where she directed end-to-end digital campaigns, crafted strategic social media frameworks, and provided client counsel.

Lydia began her career in sustainability, while working at telecommunications giant O2, she contributed significantly to the launch of their net-zero commitments. In addition, she assumed a pivotal role as the marketing liaison for the NSPCC partnership, involving rebranding initiatives, the creation of an innovative e-learning platform, the launch of impactful digital campaigns, and large-scale retail activations across 70 UK stores.

Lydia studied Business Management at the University of Birmingham. Whilst at University she completed the Uprising Leadership program, where she collaborated with peers to conceptualise a social action campaign aimed at dismantling the stigma of homelessness.

Lydia is a committed volunteer for South London Cares, a charity focusing on mitigating loneliness.
